At Island Color, we often take you to hidden beaches that are hidden away from tourists, known only by locals. You might find amazing beaches just down steep cliffs or mountains...and experience something like Indiana Jones! Is it okay if I'm a beginner? "Of course!" We'll guide you to the best spots for safe surfing. This tour is designed for beginners and those who are not confident in their physical strength or who can't ride the waves themselves. Even beginners can participate with peace of mind, as we provide comprehensive support. From June to December, you can also enjoy self-snorkeling, killing two birds with one stone! We offer private tours whenever possible for families with children. A professional photographer will accompany you, and photos taken will be provided as a gift! Worried about the weather during your trip? Don't worry, surfing is a breeze, even on rainy days! This is the most popular marine sport! If you would like to join, please be sure to let our staff know by the day of the tour. ~Experience Process~ 1. Meet at the designated location (meet at a roadside station in Uruma City, Onna Village, Yomitan Village, or Itoman City). Your instructor will inform you of the meeting time and location the day before. 2. Travel to the beach. We will escort you to the surf spot in our car. Please minimize your luggage and prepare (large towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, drinks, etc.). 3. Change into clothes, warm-up exercises, and explanations about beach safety. You will change into a wetsuit at the changing facility or on-site. Women are encouraged to wear easy-to-wear clothing, such as a dress. We recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath your clothes. In the summer, we recommend wearing a beach T-shirt, rash guard, or leggings. ④ Basic movements on shore and explanation of how to handle the board (lesson time 15 minutes). Before entering the water, you will be explained about safety, how to ride the waves, and how to operate the surfboard. ⑤ Surfing experience begins (※ Surfing time 45 minutes). Follow the instructor's instructions and enjoy surfing together! Feel free to ask anything you don't understand. ⑥ Change clothes/clean up/transport. In order to enjoy surfing in Okinawa at high tide, you will need the support of local instructors and guides. From inexperienced people to experienced people, we will support you with a smile so that you can enjoy the experience surfing in Okinawa. It is convenient to have a swimsuit. ● In this area near the surf point from the coast, the terrain is shallow at high tide and it is the best location to enjoy school and experience surfing. ● In the first half of the course, we will take care of each one by arriving next to the customer so that they can stand on the board. ● I'm getting used to it a little. Okinawa Hibi Surfing School has a clubhouse in the surf town and sandy coast area on the west coast of Okinawa. This area, which is close to the surf point from the coast, has shallow terrain at high tide and is a great location to enjoy surfing! When you apply for rental, we will also provide information on the point information time zone (4 hours at high tide is surf time in Okinawa) that you can surf.
