[Summary] Experience snowshoeing at Nikko Yumoto Onsen. The course is flat, so it can be enjoyed by three generations of the family. [Distance] Approximately 3km (walking around the parks in the Oku-Nikko Yumoto Onsen area) [Schedule] 10:00 Meet in front of Nikko Yumoto Visitor Center ・Reception ・Snowshoe rental (free), explanation of how to use 10:15 Departure ・Activity location: Nikko Yumoto Onsen Park and snowshoe course *To ensure safety, we will select a course taking into account snowfall conditions. 12:00 Arrival/disbandment in front of Nikko Yumoto Visitor Center [About snowshoes] Snowshoes are a tool like "kanjiki" that you wear on your shoes to walk on snow. Please note that there are no dedicated shoes for snowshoes, and we can accommodate a wide range of shoes with a hard instep (snow boots, etc.) that are cold-resistant and waterproof. We also rent snow boots, but please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request due to size and number restrictions. If you would like to rent boots, please let us know in the answer to the questions when making your reservation. Wearing snowshoes, Yonomori and to large snowfield. Nature guide walks while to tell fun and the state of the winter of Yonomori that do not put very much if it is not together. Upon exiting to the snowy field, winter night sky full of stars of Kitakaruizawa is there. If you're weather, you can see a number of dazzling star in the crystal clear air. Only here the winter is a special experience.
夜にスノーシュー体験ができるということで参加してきました！ 平日ということもあり、参加グループは私たち(初心者)だけでした。 雪が少なかったのでどうなるかなと思いましたが、普段とは違うコースを設定して頂いたようでお得感がありました。 残念ながら雪の質は期待していたような新雪ではありませんでしたが…こればっかりは仕方ないですね^^; 月が出る前に出発したので、星が本当に綺麗でした。 息を呑むほどの満天の星空… 人生で初めてこんなにたくさんの星を見ました。 星座や星の解説も丁寧で勉強になりました。 今回は動物には出会えませんでしたが、動植物の解説も面白く聞かせて頂きました。 夜は４割ほどの確率で動物に遭遇できるそうです。 時間に余裕もあったので少し長めに案内して頂いて、大満足の体験でした。
