Located close to the village, you'll be guided by a local guide, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. First, visit a waterfall beloved by locals. This is a special experience of walking along a beautiful clear stream flowing from the vast beech forest of the Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Site. It will be held in the Fujikoto River in Akita Prefecture. The river is so clean that you can see the bottom. You will not meet anyone else during the trek. You can enjoy a sense of privacy. You may encounter birds and fish. A guide will accompany you, so even if you are new to river trekking, you can feel at ease. If it gets hot, you can swim or jump in. Lunch (included in the tour price) is a bento box made with locally grown rice and wild vegetables. You will eat it by the side of the clear stream. It is a day where you can feel the untouched nature with your whole body. On rainy days, you can change to Shirakami Forest trekking.
