Snowshoe trekking at the foot of the World Heritage Site, Shirakami-Sanchi! Experience snowshoe trekking at an affordable price near the village. You can even dive into the photogenic snow! Children aged 6 and over are welcome, making this a great way to create memories with your children! Experience the majesty of nature as you trek through the fluffy snow on snowshoes. Experienced certified guides from the Akita Shirakami Guide Association will guide all participants. Even first-time snowshoers will receive a thorough explanation, so you can rest assured. If you're lucky, you might even see animal footprints! Recommended things to do before or after the experience: Take a break at Mori no Eki. They offer premium soft serve ice cream and coffee brewed with water from the Shirakami-Sanchi. Souvenirs are also available for purchase. Day-trip bathing. The Yunosawa hot spring resort area near Mori no Eki is famous for its waters that are said to be good for your skin. The Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Center Fujisatokan is located next to Mori no Eki. Free admission. Open from 10am to 4pm in winter, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (or the following day if a public holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday).
Slowly trek through the snow with snowshoes. A certified guide from the Akita Shirakami Guide Association will guide you to the participants. We will give a polite lecture to those who are new to snowshoes, so you can rest assured.
Enjoy your favorite menu at the restaurant attached to Mori no Eki, the meeting point.
