We will make a key chain using Kyoto twisted tassels. Braid "Kumihimo" like "Your Name". Choose up to 2 colors of thread by yourself and make a set of four. Tie a knot and attach it to the tassel to make a key holder. Kanae-musubi is a type of knotting method that has been used for a long time in the field of Kyoto Kumihimo as a way to make wishes come true. The price may change depending on the type of twisted tassel. (5 00 yen) The charms shown in the photo can be attached separately for a fee (200 yen to 500 yen). Why not try making "Kumiko" in Noshiro, the city of wood? Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, is a town at the mouth of the Yoneshiro River, and has a convenient port for transporting felled Akita cedar. Lumber is exported domestically and overseas, and it was called "the No. 1 city of wood in the Orient". Even now, there are many wood-related companies in the city. We will assemble wooden "Kumiko parts" from scratch. There is some fine work, but the work of assembling them together is addictive! The finishing work using a file allows you to feel the pleasant scent of wood. *Wood material: Hiba You can choose from two types of "strap" with a diameter of about 5.6 cm and "coaster" with a diameter of about 10 cm (additional 500 yen).
