You can experience the traditional Japanese art of geisha entertainment while enjoying delicious food and drinks at a restaurant in a traditional Japanese house built over 260 years ago! ・Directly connected to Kazamatsuri Station, or a 10-minute taxi ride from Odawara Station ・Experience the traditional Japanese culture of geisha entertainment ・Tailor-made kaiseki cuisine prepared by the head chef ・You can taste local sake and juices from Hakone and Odawara (additional charges apply) ・You can grill sweetfish on the hearth in a 260-year-old traditional Japanese house, and enjoy tea in the tea room. Since the Edo period (1600-1868), geishas have been indispensable at banquets at traditional Japanese restaurants, such as dancing and playing the shamisen to liven up the party. Such restaurants have an image of "no first-time customers" and "price is up to you," so many people who wanted to experience geisha entertainment may have been hesitant to take the plunge. With the aim of protecting the traditional culture of Odawara and Hakone and conveying its charm, a "Traditional Culture Experience Plan" has been created at Kaiseki Oshimizu in Suzuhiro Kamaboko no Sato, where you can experience geisha dancing and geisha play while dining. Hakone Yumoto boasts the second largest geisha culture after Kyoto. Experience the traditional Japanese culture of "geisha" while enjoying Japanese food and sake prepared by the head chef in an old gassho-style house built over 260 years ago.
