Experience the charms of Osaka's water city from the river on this half-day kayak tour along the Osaka Canal. Starting at the Waterside Park near JR Sakuranomiya Station, you'll practice paddling on the city's only beach. Then, board your kayak on the calm waters surrounded by the embankment and launch your kayak into the Okawa River. Explore the urban jungle, surrounded by skyscrapers. Speeding through the urban jungle offers a refreshingly different experience than activities in the great outdoors. Courses are tailored to each participant's pace. For those confident in their stamina, we offer a full loop around the urban island of Nakanoshima. This tour is recommended for those who feel like they've had enough of eating too much in Osaka, and need some exercise. Even for locals, the view from the river is a whole new experience, and you'll discover new charms in Osaka, sure to fall even more in love with your hometown! We also offer the Water City Osaka Paddle-Down Tour, Night Kayaking Tour, and Wakayama Sea Kayaking Tour, perfect for experienced kayakers. Provided *Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and other paddling equipment *The guide will take photos during the tour. What to bring *Water and snacks, hat, rash guard or jacket to protect from the sun, sunscreen, sunglasses, clothes and shoes (sandals) that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. As there is a lot of wind on the river, we recommend bringing a jacket to protect you from the cold until around June, and from October onwards. If rain is forecast, please bring rain gear. If you wear glasses, please bring bands if available. Please bring a towel to change clothes and wash your feet after the tour. You can use the water source in the park. If you need to change clothes, we can also provide simple tents, so please let us know. *Please take out your own insurance to cover accidents and injuries during the tour.

The event will be held at Taiyo Square, a vast grassland with views of Osaka Bay, at Maishima Sports Island, easily accessible from the city. The sea breezes catch the wings and float up within reach of the instructor. If the condition is good, fly to a height of about 2 to 5m from the ground with a rope towing system like flying a kite. Please enjoy the superb view from an angle you can never see! If the weather is fine, you can fly while overlooking the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Mt. Rokko! The evening course is a flight while watching the sunset!
