It is a slow process, so even beginners can participate with confidence. The experience lasts a full two and a half hours. You can freely create teacups, small bowls, mugs, flower vases, etc. using 1 kg of clay. It is also possible to make more than one work. The instructor will carefully support you, so even beginners can work with confidence. Popular works include large plates, mugs, large teacups, tea bowls, and rice bowls. Many people make two small plates, flower pots, bonsai pots, and ornaments, so you can enjoy it with your own ideas. This plan includes visiting a traditional Japanese townhouse, "Machiya," and participating in a tea ceremony in Kyoto wearing traditional costumes. First, after arriving, you will be quickly dressed in a kimono made of real silk. After that, you will be guided around the townhouse built in the Meiji period. Enjoy tea while listening to an explanation about the tea ceremony in the tea room. There is a traditional four-and-a-half-tatami tea room and a standing seat where you can sit on a chair, so anyone can enjoy tea.
