【Kushiro Wetland Canoe Private Tour Lake Toruji ~ Hosooka Course (Duration: about 120 minutes)】 ■ Enjoy the Kushiro Marshland with a private canoe tour! From the largest lake in Kushiro Wetland, go through the Akinawa River, a tributary of the Kushiro River, from Toroji Lake to the Kushiro River. Leave yourself in a slow flow, to the heart of the Kushiro Wetland. Why do not you experience birds singing and whispering of the wind in the middle of nature? Sometimes Ezoshima and Red crown may show us your face. Come and join us! The area around Toroji is a natural rich area even in Kushiro Marsh. The Salvo Observatory, about 1 km from Toroji Station, has panoramic view of Lake Toruji and other lakes and squares, and at the entrance of Kotaro Marsh, there is a Nihonmatsu Observation Area where you can see the Kushiro River and Kushiro Wetland and the Kushiro city area. In addition, there are plenty of places of interest such as Kotaro Marshland Observation Deck. Why do not you take a short walk on foot or by bicycle by all means. Drift ice is essential for the creatures living in Shiretoko. One step on the ice and you are in the world of wild animals. By putting on a special suit, you can step into the world of creatures that live with the ice. Drift ice walk is an activity that can only be experienced in the Utoro area of the Shiretoko Peninsula for only one and a half months. Why not experience the lives of creatures woven by the drift ice? You will surely be captivated by the sights you never imagined before participating.

An experience you can only have here! Put on a dry suit and walk on the drift ice! Drift ice comes ashore on the coast of Okhotsk from late January. At its peak, the coast of Utoro is covered with pure white drift ice, creating a scene that you won't find anywhere else in Japan. Wear a special dry suit and walk on and touch the drift ice.
