The Shiretoko Five Lakes are a scenic spot that represents Shiretoko. Surrounded by virgin forest, you can walk around all five of the mystical lakes on the ground walkway and the elevated boardwalk. Walk through the forest where many wild animals and plants live and experience the majestic nature of Shiretoko up close.

The Shiretoko Five Lakes are a representative tourist spot in Shiretoko and are a must-see. A certified guide will slowly guide you along a course of about 3 km with little elevation change. You can see the traces of animals and enjoy the rich nature of Shiretoko while walking. The lake surrounded by virgin forest is a very quiet and attractive field. ***Guided tour flow***◆For those who wish to take the tour from May 10th to July 31st, please choose from the following start times: ①Around 8:30-9:30 ②Around 10:00-10:30 ③Around 13:00-14:30 ④Around 15:00-15:30. Please feel free to consult us about the departure and arrival times of planes and cruisers. Please fill out the reservation application form (free entry field) in detail with your preference. ◆April 27th to May 9th, August 1st to November 4th (excluding August 11th-17th) Please choose from the following start times: ①Around 9:00 ②Around 10:00-10:30 ③Around 13:00-14:00 During Golden Week and Obon holidays, the tour will start only at 8:40 to avoid traffic jams. Meet your guide at the Shiretoko Goko Field House. This is a guided tour where you can use binoculars to carefully observe the wild animals, wild birds, plants and flowers that inhabit Shiretoko, a World Heritage Site. Why not take a peek at the lives of wild animals that you normally can't see, such as Ezo deer, Ezo red foxes, Ezo squirrels and wild birds? Enjoy Shiretoko with a guided tour that can be enjoyed by families, couples, and any group. [Guidance time] The tour ends 3 hours after the start time. Note: If the tour starts at 14:00, it will end at 17:00. *There are limited time slots for the Shiretoko Five Lakes Walking Lecture, so if we cannot accommodate your request, we will guide you to the closest tour start time. This is an eco-friendly one-day tour of Shiretoko's most famous scenic spots: the Shiretoko Five Lakes, Furepe Falls, and Shiretoko Pass. The tour is conducted on e-bikes due to the many ups and downs, but it still requires some physical strength, so it is recommended for those who normally enjoy long cycling trips. The tour includes 3km and 3 hours of trekking at the Shiretoko Five Lakes and 2km and 1 hour of trekking at Furepe Falls. Lunch at the Shiretoko Five Lakes is included in the price.
