☆Mt. Hiuchi, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains, a paradise tour above the clouds ☆Mt. Hiuchi forms the Kubiki mountains along with Mt. Myoko and Mt. On the hillside of Mt. Hiuchi, around 2000m to 2100m above sea level, there is a beautiful wetland area with Takaya Pond, Kurosawa Pond, and Tengu no Niwa. In July, when the snow finally melts on Mt. Hiuchi, the wetlands are filled with beautiful alpine flowers. The green of the fresh green, the white of the lingering snow, the colorful flower garden and the bright blue sky... The scenery is truly worthy of being called a heavenly paradise. After mid-September, the surface of the mountain gradually turns into autumn colors. Especially from late September to early October, the beauty of the Tengu Garden, Takaya Pond, and Kurosawa Pond is beyond description. This tour, which starts from the trailhead of Mt. Sasagamine at an altitude of about 1300m, will be a full-fledged mountaineering tour with an altitude difference of 800m. Warm-up exercise + explanation of itinerary 7:00 AM - Tour start Departure from Sasagamine trailhead. A hiking tour that connects old roads and visits the five Togakushi shrines Togakushi is a historical place of worship from which the legend of Amano-Iwato, a Japanese myth, is derived. It is also a sacred place for Shugendo, where the trainees have been practicing in the steep mountains since ancient times. On this tour, you will visit the five shrines of Hokkosha, Fire Mikosha, Chusha, Okusha and Kuzuryusha, which are enshrined in Togakushi, and enjoy the ancient roads and beautiful nature of Togakushi that still remain. .. This is a one-day hiking tour where you can feel the beautiful nature of the Togakushi Plateau, which changes with the seasons, and the historical culture that has been passed down. ～ Flow of the day ～ 8:30 Meet at Kurohime Station Meet at Kurohime Station. The Sasagamine Plateau is a basin-like plateau area surrounded by mountains at an altitude of 2000 m on the prefectural border between Niigata and Nagano prefectures. Located at an altitude of 1300m, people began to enter this deep mountainous area from around the Edo period. Yumemidaira is a forest that spreads beyond the dam bank of Lake Otomi. There used to be a sawmill here, and forestry workers and others lived in this deep mountain. In the forest of giant trees of beech and quercus crispula, walk along the promenade that was set up on the track traces of the past, and when you go near the Hyosawa River, which is the prefectural border with Nagano Prefecture, there is a huge wig that can be called the elder of the forest. The old tree stands quietly but dignifiedly. The course has few ups and downs, so even those who do not hike often can enjoy it. Just by living, people accumulate dirt and impurities at the end of each day. It would be nice if we could wash them off ourselves every day, but for busy modern people, it is not easy. Mount Koya, which spreads out in a mountain basin surrounded by peaks at an altitude of about 1,000m, is a sacred place of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism founded by Kobo Daishi Kukai 1,200 years ago. This plan involves climbing together to the top of Benten-dake, the watershed of Mount Koya, and performing a purification and purification prayer in front of the shrine. (Depending on the weather, etc., it may be performed at a different shrine.) A special human figure will be prepared. Usually, the Great Purification is performed at the end of June and the end of December, but for our purification and purification plan, a specialized prayer leader will be available all year round when visitors are in a good mood. We will offer our original incense amulet after praying for it. Why not spend a refreshing time with the goddess of water (Benzaiten)? This is an experiential workshop recommended for those who want to learn more about Mount Koya.

At Mitsuishi Fudoson, a traditional esoteric Buddhist temple that worships the waterfall where Kobo Daishi trained at the age of 21, we will practice rituals at the goma and make our wishes come true. The prayer priest is Sato Myosen (representative of the Kishu Koyasan Yokofue Association), a nun who lives in Mt. Koya. After the Goma prayer, if the weather is good, you can visit the waterfall and achieve a unique purification. Although you can apply for the Goma prayer experience alone, we recommend visiting in a group.
