It is a canoeing experience of about 8 km on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. This is the most downstream course starting from Hosooka Canoe Port and going down to Iwahogi Floodgate. This area retains the original appearance of the marshland with few trees and many open landscapes. The meandering of the Kushiro River is also the most frequent course. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. We also have a Kushiro Wetland long course of about 17 km that combines the forest course and the wilderness course! 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 8:00 course) Meet at 8:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. (If you are late, please let me know.) When we meet, we will park your car at Toya Station and move to Hosooka Station in my car. (Reception will be done inside the train) 8:15 Arrive at JR Senmo Line Hosooka Station When you arrive at Hosooka Station, after using the toilet, move to the starting point, Hosooka Canoe Port. 8:35 Canoe preparation, safety talk When you arrive at the Hosooka canoe port, prepare for canoeing and give a safety explanation for canoeing. 8:45 Departure! When you're ready, let's go! If you wish, we will also take a commemorative photo here during the experience. 10:05 Arrive at Iwahogi Floodgate! About 1 hour and 20 minutes canoeing experience. A nature guide will take you deep into the pristine nature of Shiretoko. By walking with a nature guide, you can see the mechanisms of nature that you have never noticed before and get closer to the heart of the World Heritage Site of Shiretoko. Why not spend a luxurious time in the great outdoors on a Shiretoko guided tour? We offer free binoculars rentals for everyone on our guided tours. This is a nature experience guided tour where you can use binoculars to carefully observe the wild animals, wild birds, plants and flowers that live in Shiretoko, a World Heritage Site. Why not take a peek at the lives of wild animals that you normally cannot see, such as Ezo deer, Ezo red foxes, Ezo squirrels and wild birds? A new private canoe tour course from 2010, where you can enjoy the powerful wetland nature and meanders. Kayanuma - Sugawara Entry from the Kushiro River meander restoration area. Down the meandering Kushiro River to Sugawara. This is a course where you can feel the beginning of the marsh (uppermost part). Yezo deer, kingfishers, and red-crowned cranes may come to greet you.

Take a relaxing two-seater kayak down the Tokachi River, a large river that flows slowly for about 6 km. You are in charge of rowing yourself! The guide will support you in a separate kayak. Let's go on a river trip together ^^ If you're lucky, you might encounter rare wild birds such as the red-crowned crane or the white-tailed eagle, or even observe the willow tree, which has a very small habitat in Japan! We also recommend looking out over the majestic Hidaka Mountains from the river for a beautiful view. On the way, in Nakasu, you can collect obsidian (Tokachi stone) that can only be found here and take it home as a souvenir! ! It looks like a stone on the riverbank, but inside it's actually beautiful black glass. You'll feel like you're looking for a little gem. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave it to those who are not confident in the operation and physical strength of the canoe. 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 5:00 course) Meet at 5:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. Since Hosooka Station is nearby, we will take a restroom break here. 8:00 Second half start! The second half is about 8 km. From Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Water Gate. 9:20 Arrive at Iwahogi Water Gate! While the canoe is being put away, I will have you look at the marsh from a little higher ground. 10:00 Move from Iwahogi Water Gate to Toya Station and disband.

Take a walk with your guide to the national natural monument "Utasaibunabayashi" that has survived the two logging crises. In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.
