Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather improves.

We will observe red-crowned cranes at feeding stations in Tsurui Village. In addition, we will introduce you to Tsurui Village and other wonderful winter scenery tailored to your time. Walk in the middle diving ridge approaching the Pacific Ocean in Japan, aiming for JR Koboro station, which is popular as a secluded station and winter adventure trekking! From Koboro station I will aim the station Kaikan by train.

During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. You will walk through natural forests and see waterfalls and giant icicles flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, and depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are designated as natural monuments. If you find them, you can observe them with a 25x field scope and binoculars and take photos freely. There is a high probability that you will also see Ezo deer and wild birds. To prevent infection, all tours are conducted outdoors. If you are traveling by car, you will follow the guide's car in a rental car or similar vehicle, and observations will be conducted outdoors. In rare cases, roads may be closed due to storms or other reasons. If we find out about a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile phone to cancel (or postpone if you wish).

Take a walk through the Utasai beech forest, which is designated as a national natural monument, with a nature guide. Take a walk with your guide to the national natural monument "Utasaibunabayashi" that has survived the two logging crises. In spring, take a walk while watching the pretty spring ephemeral flowers and the young shoots of fresh green beech. In summer, you can feel the natural energy in the dark green. In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.
