We will experience scavenging in a small river about 2km upstream from Akiya Coast, but it is shallow and has clean water. Since the rocks are exposed in places, it is slippery, so marine shoes are essential for this tour. (Free rental of idiot boots from autumn to spring) We plan to head upstream for about 1.5 hours in a swimsuit and marine shoes while being explained about the creatures. We plan to search for river crabs and mitten crabs, mainly scavenger goby, flat shrimp, and snake black dragonfly larvae in the rock river. The meeting place is Akiya bus stop, and there is a parking lot nearby, but it is expected to be crowded, so we recommend coming by train and bus. We look forward to your participation. What to bring: Marine shoes (from the end of March to October), swimsuit, rash guard, spats, drinks, hat, rucksack, plastic case for taking home + bubble (battery-powered oxygen supply machine) What you need to prepare: Idiot boots (from November to mid-March), net, storage bucket That's all.

This is a tour to go to the river where Oyanirami live and catch them with a net. Other fish that live here include Yoshinobori, crayfish, and dragonfly larvae. After that, we plan to go fishing in the Tama River. The target is a lure called Traget for carnivorous fish such as Small Mouse Bass, catfish, and Nigoi. Oyanirami are freshwater fish belonging to the family Ctenidae of the order Perciformes, and are carnivorous, eating crustaceans, aquatic insects, and small fish. They react quickly to anything that moves and swallow them whole with their large mouths. There are many unusual names for fish, but the standard Japanese name "Oyanirami" is said to have been given because of the way the male protects the eggs, "the parent glares", but there are various theories about the origin of the Japanese name. Electric cycling and exploring unexplored areas at a hidden spot just over an hour west of Shinjuku! A local guide will take you on a special route through the scenery of nature and Satoyama, which is hard to believe that you are in Tokyo. With the help of an electric assist, you can easily climb the slope, encounter a huge tree, greet the fish swimming in the clear stream, throw stones in the river, take a break on the wooden deck overlooking the valley, and buy some local sweets. This is a fulfilling tour where you can enjoy the beauty of the valley, nature, and hidden spots that you won't believe are in Tokyo, as if they were attractions. For lunch, you can enjoy a special Cuban sandwich lunch box while relaxing on an outdoor chair in the valley (canyon chairing experience) (both the chairing and lunch box are included in the price). Enjoy the luxury of sitting by the water, listening to the sound of the water, and doing nothing. The highlight of the afternoon tour is a river trekking experience where you wear waterproof clothing to keep your feet dry and walk through a secret valley stream to feel like an explorer and visit a hidden waterfall in Tokyo! Participants must be 135cm tall or above, and can be enjoyed by friends or family. After river trekking, we will run along the river and return to the back mountain base, and the tour will end... If you wish, you can use the rental bicycle as is and move around freely, so you can split up with the guide and go further through the countryside and valley scenery, and even aim for a hot spring footbath. (We will give you a map and explain it so you don't get lost.)Meet and dissolve at the Tokyo Urayama Base, right in front of Musashi Itsukaichi Station. This tour includes everything you need, including bicycle rentals and other rental items, so there's no need for troublesome preparation or cleanup. Feel free to join us empty-handed.
