[June to September] Enjoy a SUP experience tour in Lake Shirakawa surrounded by nature. Even if it's your first time, you can rest assured as the guide will support you from how to ride. Enjoy 2 hours of relaxation surrounded by nature! We will give you a lecture on how to ride, so beginners with no experience or friends can try it safely and enjoyably. One of the fun things about SUP is losing your balance and flipping over in the water, but don't worry, we will guide you according to the weather and temperature. Be sure to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet. Have fun playing energetically and happily in the hot summer on the cool lake in Yamagata. Dogs are welcome! This is an activity you can enjoy with your beloved dog. There is a direct parking lot, so there is no waiting time. "Surikamigawa Dam" is the source of "Fukushima Water", which has won the highest gold award at the Monde Selection for four consecutive years. Please join us for an activity of kayaking around the lake, which has high water quality and is nurtured by beautiful nature. A kayak is a small boat for one or two people that moves forward with a paddle with blades on both ends. It is a water activity that you can enjoy freely controlling because you sit inside the boat and the center of gravity is low and close to the water surface. Since it is an experience in an artificial dam lake, there is little risk of being swept away, and since motorized boats, fishing, and swimming are prohibited at Surikamigawa Dam, you can enjoy kayaking touring with peace of mind. Of course, the guide will teach you how to ride and paddle, and will accompany you during the tour, so even first-timers and children can participate with peace of mind. The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still active and performing live (popular theater and other) for over 115 years. The 2025 performances are as follows: April 23rd to July 27th: "Shitamachi Kabuki Gumi" - Leader Mimine Tooru -> Star actor Shingetsu Kaito -> Star actor Hitomi Hiroshi (Star actor Subaru Toma) - They will perform in rotation for about one month each time. August 1st to September 15th: "Kanzaki Jun & 10carats" Fabulous Revue Boys. Actress Murai Mayumi and former OSK Nippon Revue Company Subaru Mirai will perform. September 21st to October 28th: "Gekidan Yumeiro" - Leader Kano Kenji, former OSA Nippon Revue Company Wakaki Shiho, special appearance Endo Mariko. It is interesting that the performers change every year in this theater company formed just for the Korakukan performances. The Meiji-era playhouse "Korakukan" was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for the Kosaka Mine employees. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the interior is purely Japanese-style. Its most distinctive feature is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a playhouse. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility. Enjoy a truly eye-opening look behind the scenes of a living playhouse!

[June to November: held on weekdays] Akashiba Gorge is a scenic spot in Bandai Asahi National Park with a stunning landscape. The area is covered with broadleaf trees such as Japanese maples, maples, and beeches, and is a famous spot for autumn leaves that turn bright red every fall. It is said that the name Akashiba Gorge came from the fact that it was called the "Red Wall of Japan." The Arakawa River, where the gorge is located, looks like a rapid when viewed from National Route 113, but on this tour, you will canoe in a relatively calm area surrounded by granite. The field has a different flow than canoeing on a lake, which makes you feel nervous. After warming up, you will paddle upstream against the flow of the river in the first half. With a break in between, you will canoe down the valley in the second half. The view of Akashiba Gorge from the water with a guide is exceptional. *In 2025, the tour will be held from Monday to Friday. If you would like to take the Akashiba Gorge canoe tour on weekends, please contact us. On weekends, we mainly hold canoe tours around Lake Shirakawa and Mibuchi Valley. We will guide you through the streets of Yokote, which have developed around Yokote Station. During the walk, we will give you information on restaurants such as Yokote Yakisoba and other specialty shops, so please make use of it. After about an hour of walking around the town, it's teatime. Take a break at a cafe and reflect on your walk around the town. "Enjoy the scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi" Walk the mountains of Noshiro in full pilgrimage attire with Noen Haruharu, a guide from Ryusenji Temple! You can hear about history and faith from your guide, and about trees and flowers from Noen Haruharu. Experience Buddhism by walking through the mountain scenery of the four seasons.
