The tour usually starts at 10:00 with pick-up from your hotel in Yokohama or meeting at a major station. If you would like to make "Chicken Ramen" (90 minutes) at the Cup Noodles Museum or visit the Kirin Beer Factory (90 minutes), please contact us as reservations are required. Reservations are not required for "Cup Noodle Making (about 45 minutes)", but we recommend starting the tour at 9:30 as it is on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is held throughout the year, and after observing insects in the forest (larvae from autumn to spring), parents and children will explore the creatures in the river. On the day, gather at the meeting point and rent a Panasonic electric bicycle (with front and rear child seats, 20-inch and 24-inch MTBs are available for upper elementary school students) (free of charge). Put on gloves and go through the grass and turn over stones to catch fish and crayfish. Spring water and cold water points do not move, so you can catch them with your bare hands. The main targets for capture are turtles, frogs, catfish, Japanese mitten crabs, striped shrimp, Yamato swamp shrimp, American crayfish, Ukigoi, Chichibu, loach, Moroko, Motsugo, Japanese river snail, Taiwanese clam, dragonfly nymph, and river insects. We will experience scavenging in a small river about 2km upstream from Akiya Coast, but it is shallow and has clean water. Since the rocks are exposed in places, it is slippery, so marine shoes are essential for this tour. (Free rental of idiot boots from autumn to spring) We plan to head upstream for about 1.5 hours in a swimsuit and marine shoes while being explained about the creatures. We plan to search for river crabs and mitten crabs, mainly scavenger goby, flat shrimp, and snake black dragonfly larvae in the rock river.
