You can enjoy beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons, with mountain cherry blossoms and rhododendrons in spring, hydrangeas in early summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and covered in snow in winter. The entire area has been designated as a scenic spot by the Japanese government. The tourist train that connects Arashiyama and Kameoka is the "Sagano Scenic Train."
