The view from Hosooka Observatory, also known as the "Great View," is spectacular, and on a clear day you can see the Akan Mountains. Watching the sunset from Hosooka Observatory has also become popular recently. The untouched Hosooka Observatory is an observation deck that cannot be reached by large tourist buses. There is also a course that combines the Norokko train ride, where you can ride one way through the marsh from Kushiro city to Hosooka Observatory to Kushiro city, and then take a taxi back to see the Kushiro Marsh from a different angle.

It is a canoeing experience of about 17 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave it to those who are not confident in the operation and physical strength of the canoe. 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 5:00 course) Meet at 5:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. When you're ready, let's go! First half, about 9 km. From Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port. If you wish, we will also take a commemorative photo here during the experience. 7:30 Arrive at Hosooka Canoe Port! The first half is a canoe experience of about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Since Hosooka Station is nearby, we will take a restroom break here. 8:00 Second half start! The second half is about 8 km. From Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Water Gate. 9:20 Arrive at Iwahogi Water Gate! While the canoe is being put away, I will have you look at the marsh from a little higher ground. 10:00 Move from Iwahogi Water Gate to Toya Station and disband.

It is a canoeing experience of about 8 km on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. This is the most downstream course starting from Hosooka Canoe Port and going down to Iwahogi Floodgate. This area retains the original appearance of the marshland with few trees and many open landscapes. The meandering of the Kushiro River is also the most frequent course. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. We also have a Kushiro Wetland long course of about 17 km that combines the forest course and the wilderness course! 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 8:00 course) Meet at 8:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. A snowshoe trek to Lake Mashu during the mid-winter season starting in the afternoon. A nature guide will take you to the Uramashu Observation Deck, which is closed during the winter. Would you like to go see the snow-covered Lake Mashu on snowshoes? Please meet at Kiyosato Ihatov Youth Hostel by 11:30 on the day of your participation. If you are coming by JR, please contact us. This is a half-day course with a gentle uphill slope. The course is reasonably priced, so even women can participate. Along the way, you can enjoy encounters with wild animals such as red foxes, red squirrels, and woodpeckers. *Please note that the number of participants is limited, so depending on the timing of your application, we may not be able to accept your application because it is full.
