Drift ice can be seen floating in the Sea of Okhotsk, which is located in the northeastern part of Japan, every year. Drift ice season is from January to March, and drift ice SUP peak is from late February to the end of March. The drift ice SUP tour will be held in the Sea of Okhotsk in the Abashiri area. Hokkaido is the southernmost spot in the northern hemisphere where drift ice appears. If you're lucky, you might see animals from the Arctic waters, such as Steller's sea eagles and harbor seals. By all means, let's enjoy the extraordinary! It will surely be a wonderful memory.

Summer in Hokkaido is something that everyone wants to visit at least once. We will guide you through "Okhotsk", which is rich in nature even in Hokkaido, for a leisurely day. The theme of the Shiretoko area is "to fully enjoy nature". In the morning, a guided walk around the Shiretoko Goko Lakes takes you through the representative fields of Shiretoko. We will pick you up at a restaurant in Utoro for lunch. The remaining half day is trekking in the primeval forest. We will take you to a place with a superb view of cliffs and waterfalls by walking along the animal trail. You can immerse yourself in the charm of the world natural heritage Shiretoko through encounters with wild animals and dynamic scenery. *If the Shiretoko Five Lakes are closed due to brown bear appearances, snowfall, etc., there may be cases where the morning and afternoon tours are replaced, another course is offered, and the tour ends in half a day (in that case, a refund will be given). Please forgive me in advance. ◆This facility is registered as a nationwide travel support store that handles regional coupons. "Regional Coupons" can only be used for local payments.
We are a group of 5 pax and we had a great walk with Kanako san as our guide. We saw bear claws mark on the tree, bear paws print, deer skull and things we would have miss if we were to walk on our own. A deer suddenly ran towards us and stayed with us during our walk and Kanako San told us it not a good sign as the deer might have been spooked by a bear. It was a beautiful and exciting walk for us. Highly recommend Kanako san for your guided walk.

Lake Kussharo, the world's largest caldera lake, is a huge depression created by volcanic eruptions that has become a beautiful lake and is a rich field where many wild animals live. Even now, the hot springs bubbling along the lake make you feel the power of the earth. On a day with stable winds, we head to Oyakotsu Jigoku, the tip of the Wakoto Peninsula, to make hot spring eggs! Experience the feeling of being one with nature, rocked by the water, blown by the wind, and warmed by the hot springs. Why not explore the watery world of Lake Kussharo, a caldera lake created by volcanic eruption, on a SUP? The appeal of SUP is that you are close to the water and it is easy to feel one with nature. We hope you will feel the transparency of the water of Lake Kussharo, the strength of the volcano, and the comfort of the breeze! ~Schedule for the day~ 9:00 Meet at Lake Kussharo Wakoto Peninsula After filling out the participation consent form, we will introduce the field. We will give a lecture on how to operate the SUP and how to use the equipment safely. 9:20 Let's go! First, you will experience a menu to get used to SUP near the shore. Once you get used to it, you will explore around Wakoto Peninsula with a guide! 11:30 We will disband at the Wakoto Peninsula parking lot. Thank you for your hard work! I recommend the soft ice cream and potato mochi from the shop "Miyazaki" on Wakoto Peninsula! I can't get enough of something sweet after exercising!

Take a relaxing two-seater kayak down the Tokachi River, a large river that flows slowly for about 6 km. You are in charge of rowing yourself! The guide will support you in a separate kayak. Let's go on a river trip together ^^ If you're lucky, you might encounter rare wild birds such as the red-crowned crane or the white-tailed eagle, or even observe the willow tree, which has a very small habitat in Japan! We also recommend looking out over the majestic Hidaka Mountains from the river for a beautiful view. On the way, in Nakasu, you can collect obsidian (Tokachi stone) that can only be found here and take it home as a souvenir! ! It looks like a stone on the riverbank, but inside it's actually beautiful black glass. You'll feel like you're looking for a little gem. It's on until November! *In November, only morning tours are available. *During busy periods such as July and August, the tour may start at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. In that case, we will contact you by email or phone the day before.

If it's clear, we'll head to a scenic spot where you can see all the way to Cape Shiretoko, the tip of the Shiretoko Peninsula. The walk is not a promenade, but an exciting course that follows an animal trail. Along the way, there is a place where you can see a waterfall cascading from a cliff over 100m high, allowing you to enjoy the dynamic scenery of Shiretoko. The forest, home to wild animals such as brown bears, Ezo deer, and black woodpeckers, and the spectacular view overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk, where drift ice comes in winter, are recommended for those who want to experience the World Heritage Site of Shiretoko. It's a forest walk that will make you feel the great nature of Shiretoko and make you want to take a deep breath.
