A nature guide will lead you through the Otaru forest in winter wearing Western snowshoes called snowshoes. The winter forest is full of fun elements such as fluffy powder snow, the sound of animal footsteps, bird watching, and snow slides. With snowshoes, you can walk anywhere you want, even in places where the snow is so deep that you would normally not be able to go into them. No experience or skill required. It can be easily enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly. During the tour, we set up a simple tent and had tea time! Drinking hot drinks in the midst of nature has a special taste. We provide free transportation to and from Otaru Station. There are two half-day tours a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This is a recommended tour for those who want to challenge the winter mountains and want to make their snowshoe debut. We will aim for the summit on a route different from the summer road. From the forest road walk, we will reach the ridge and aim for the summit of 629m. A spectacular ocean view awaits you from the top of the mountain! After descending the mountain, if you wish, you can stop by a nearby hot spring.
