Plan description

"Akaigawa, a village in the sea of clouds." Come and see the spectacular view of the caldera basin village covered in a sea of clouds! Have the view from the paragliding takeoff point all to yourself! We will guide you to our private view.

Above all, during the autumn foliage season, the rate at which you can see sea of clouds is by far the highest in Hokkaido!

The caldera basin blocks the surrounding winds, cooling the basin and creating the sea of clouds. On clear nights with little wind, there is a high chance of a sea of clouds forming!

The site is higher than the observation deck in the village and is privately owned and developed as a takeoff site for paragliding, so only guests on this tour can enjoy the spectacular views!

Enjoy the view of the village from a private scenic spot. Warm yourself up by a bonfire and boil water over the bonfire to make coffee.

Tour contents and flow

1. 6:00am Please come to "Paralife Hokkaido"2. Fill out the application form, make payment, prepare for departure, use the toilet (approx. 10 minutes)3. Get in the Hiace and move to the private scenic spot (mountaintop) (approx. 20 minutes)4. Stay at the scenic spot. Enjoy the scenery at your leisure! (approx. 40 minutes)5. Descend by car (approx. 20 minutes), disband *There are no toilets at the scenic spot (during the tour), so please use the toilets at the meeting point.

About event termination	The tour will proceed even if it is light rain, but will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or strong winds. If the weather forecast for the day before clearly indicates that the tour will be cancelled, we will contact you around 6pm the day before, so please call us (090-9740-1124). If we do not hear from you, we will make a decision on the day, so please arrive by 6am. If the organizer cancels the tour due to poor weather, no payment will be made for the tour.

If you arrive by train

■By train The nearest JR station is Yoichi Station. *If you come on the day, there is no train that will make it to the meeting time, so you will have to travel the day before.

If you arrive by other means of transportation

From JR Yoichi Station, only taxis are available. *There is also a bus, but it runs four times a day and is not available when you arrive. (You can wait for it when you return.)
