A swordsmith will teach you how to make Japanese knives using blacksmith techniques. Using the same material as Japanese swords, Tamahagane, the forged iron is shaped with a hammer. You can make your own clay holder and add a blade crest. Attach the blade, cut your name on it, and sharpen it to complete it. Although it is a physically demanding job, the swordsmith will be happy to assist you, so don't worry if you are not confident in doing the heavy lifting, such as children or women. You can take photos and videos while working! The trial fee is for one Japanese knife. You can also make one book for two or more people. In that case, please let us know how many people will be participating in the experience when making a reservation. If you are making a reservation for three or more, it will take a little longer. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare before the closing time. We may be able to move the start time forward, so please contact us.

Iron is a human invention. People have walked with iron, as it is said, "Whoever controls iron controls the world." A Japanese sword cannot be made good unless it is made of iron using the traditional ironmaking method. With this plan, you can experience making iron from iron sand using the traditional iron-making method. Repeat the work of cutting charcoal into small pieces and adding iron sand to determine the "steel" part from the finished lump "kera". You can take the finished product home with you. ★We have someone here who can explain things in English, so you don't need an interpreter.

Japanese swords are iron works of art. By listening to the explanation of the production process of the works of art that have been handed down from ancient times, you will be able to understand the highlights of swords and the points of appreciation. In addition, you can observe the training process (stretching, bending, and attaching steel), which is one of the processes of making Japanese swords. Please take a picture of the place where the spark sparks. The moment the spark scatters is an instant. Sometimes it is difficult to show the process again, so please do not miss it. A pottery experience using lava glaze that is probably not found anywhere else in the world. Starting with Lucie Lee in the past, Adam Silverman of NY is famous for lava glaze in modern times. Please search for it. This is the expression of the glaze surface of works that are traded for tens of thousands to 300,000 yen. At MONO FACTORY, I have created a more personal version of that effervescent glaze after 17 years of failure. The effervescent glaze creates unique flowerpots, objects, and other works. If you love succulents such as agaves, why not try making one yourself on your way back from Shaboten Park? *Other than the effervescent glaze, the finish is the same as a regular pottery experience. Please feel free to join us☆*I am currently exploring the possibility of presenting works using this type of expression to the world. This is a limited-time plan. We operate with the idea of wanting you to spend a fulfilling ``Quality Time''. We value the time of each individual. You can play in the soil calmly in a relaxed atmosphere. We will support you behind the scenes to create memories of your trip☆・It's okay to fail as many times as you like on the electric potter's wheel! You can use as much clay as you want♪♪ The basic fee includes the firing fee for one piece of clay within the size of half an A4 sheet of paper (A5), and you will have one piece of lava glaze (bumpy) finished work without any additional options. Normally, the glaze option costs 9,000 yen/piece, and hand-made clay is 1 kg. You can add 100g/160 yen. ・Additional firing is also OK! If you would like to fire two or more pieces, please let us know at the end. ・We moved from Chigasaki, Shonan. We aim to create a comfortable space. ・The owner is a perennial beginner surfer who loves hot springs, fishing, and traveling.
