At "Experience-based old private house inn Tabinosha", we will guide you through the seasonal Shizuoka mountain village experience! In this plan, you can enjoy making tea dumplings and taking a walk in the tea plantation♪ From late September to early October, you can also try tea picking! Limited to 1 group per day ♪ Enjoy a tea-filled tea experience in Kakegawa, one of Japan's leading green tea production areas, dyed in autumn colors! Local tea farmers will enjoy making tea dumplings using tea leaves grown with great care by the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System "Chagusaba Farming". It is a plan that you can enjoy the scenery unique to Shizuoka, including the tea plantation that spreads all over.
You can experience making tea dumplings using tea leaves grown by local tea farmers using the Chagusaba farming method, which is a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. It is a challenge to make tea dumplings using picked tea leaves or already prepared tea leaves. When the tea leaves are soft and boiled, grind them in a mortar. When it becomes a paste to some extent, mix it with Joshinko and add water little by little to make the dumpling seeds. Once the dough is as hard as your earlobes, make dumplings of your desired size. Put it in boiling water and when it hardens, cool it with ice water and it's done! Enjoy with red bean paste or soybean flour as you like! If you eat it with cold tea made in the same tea plantation, the taste is outstanding! ! Enjoy autumn gourmet food unique to Japan's leading tea production area with your family and friends.
To the tea plantation beautifully maintained by the tea farmer! The expansive tea plantation is a masterpiece! Superb view! ! From the end of September to the beginning of October, it's the last 4th bancha of the year, the autumn/winter bancha season, so you can also see the scenes of the tea farmers working! During the tea harvesting season, you can experience hand-picking tea leaves that have grown strong in the summer sun! ! (Other seasons use tea leaves that have been picked and frozen in advance.)
