The calligraphy of death is something that a samurai writes down with a brush as his last words in this world when he foresees his death. (Death refers to leaving this world) Customers can write their favorite kanji. You can select a character (kanji) and write it with an extra-large brush on SAMURAI paper (16 times the size of normal hanshi), which is made by combining two sheets of hanshi paper that is 8 times the size of normal hanshi paper. (Example) Yukimura Sanada's death note, ``If you go to live in an indefinite floating world, you will not know what will happen one day later.'' (In such an unstable world, we do not know what will happen tomorrow. Please think of Naniwa as something that doesn't exist in this world.'' This is a plan to commemorate and make a pilgrimage to the sad sacred place where SAMURAI and his friends were defeated in the Osaka Siege in the last war and fell to the castle, wearing armor and helmets reminiscent of the battle. ~ A famous castle that records the history of prosperity and turmoil of the people of Japan ~ This is how Osaka Castle is introduced on its official website. However, there was no trace of Osaka Castle, which boasted of being impregnable, as all of the moats other than the main castle and the moat that had been dug back during the peace of Ieyasu's plot at the Osaka Siege were filled in. The Tokugawa army destroyed the Sanada army and invaded the castle one after another, led by the Echizen army led by Matsudaira Tadanao, who was the first to arrive. The fire set by a Tokugawa army informer in the main castle kitchen quickly destroyed the castle tower. Osaka Castle finally fell at midnight on the 7th. When Hinomoto's greatest soldier, Nobushige, was a hostage of the Toyotomi family, he was liked by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, so he was treated more like a vassal than a hostage. The reason Yukimura sided with Toyotomi, who was at an overwhelming disadvantage at the Battle of Osaka, was to protect his loyalty to Hideyoshi. ``This Yukimura was summoned to a place where he was simply trying to prolong his life, and he was given honor as a samurai. This kindness cannot be replaced by land or money. ''When Ieyasu tried to persuade him to defect, he said, ``I have no intention of defecting even if I receive half of Japan.'' ``If you forget your debts and indulge in self-interest, can you call yourself a human being?'' he left behind the words of Hinomoto's greatest soldier.

It's not just an experience where everyone sits in the audience and stirs together with a bamboo whisk. I would like you to feel the real texture and weight of each small tool. I was born in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, and I am a qualified teacher of the Omotesenke school who still lives in Nakagyo Ward. Her husband is a descendant of Ihei Ito, who developed somei-yoshino, a cherry blossom variety that is world-famous as the national flower of Japan, at the request of Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Tokugawa family. In our classroom, in addition to the antiques given to us by various people and the tea bowls we collected ourselves, we also use old ones given to us by family members. Since sitting in the seiza style puts a lot of strain on the legs, we also offer an experience using a table and chairs called the ryurei style. If you tell us when you make a reservation, even children, the elderly, and people with concerns about their feet and knees can participate with peace of mind. I think there may be cases such as "I learned it a long time ago, but I somehow forgot it", "I don't understand it even if I read a book", "I don't have time to continue learning". Would you like to experience it when it's like that? After the experience, be sure to stop by the Tsukigama and numerous tea ceremonies that can be found throughout Kyoto.

A very popular traditional bento served at tea parties that has been passed down for about 100 years. Bento is a menu that has been passed down at Tomidaya for 100 years. A tour of the townhouse, which is a cultural property, is also included. We will show you around the 140-year-old townhouse "Tomitaya" in Nishijin, Kyoto. Tomidaya was designated as a nationally registered tangible cultural property in 1999, and as a ``Museum of Nishijin Life'', the building is open to the public and the customs of Nishijin, Kyoto are introduced. Machiya life has been shaped by unchanging prayers, wishes, and gratitude since ancient times. Tomidaya started out as a production wholesaler in Nishijin about 140 years ago. This building is built by mixing charcoal into the land and closing the demon gate with amulets and salt, and enshrines Kojin (the god of fire), Benten (the god of water), and Yaoyorozu gods. Masu. In addition, there is a treasure trove where the spirit of gratitude that the 11th generation received when he jumped into the fire and saved the deity during the great fire at Ise Jingu in the Meiji period is enshrined, and is used in daily life. We are here to show you the spirit of hospitality that lives on in the past, the spirit of valuing God, and the way people have lived through generations, such as drinking tea, dancing Noh, and valuing culture.
