A small workshop located 4.8km east of Himeji Castle, a 15-minute drive away. How about a pottery experience between sightseeing? It is a plan of 2 hours experience time. In the pottery experience, you can make general tableware (tea bowls, vases, dishes etc.). It is an electric kiln that uses Bizen ware clay or clay blended with Bizen ware clay and red soil. The baked color will be ashes (hidden) or strawberry (hidasaki).

Would you like to try making a traditional onigawara? I have made and restored many onigawara, so I will teach you individually. The size is about the size of a CD case. Time is about 2.5 hours. The time to complete varies depending on the person. It is about 2 to 2.5 hours. Once it is completed, your name and the year of production will be written on it with a spatula, and the experience will end. There are onigawara with open mouths and closed mouths, familiar from the Aun breathing (Aun) harmony, Agyo and Ungyo, so please make the one you like.

We will guide you through the site of Koto Nishikori Studio, which produces traditional textiles at Kyoto. You can see Nishikiori's works, restored textiles, restored Takaki. Korin Nishikori Kobo is a workshop established by textile artist Korin Tatsumura. One postcard per person and a special photo taken with a precious high machine.
