[What is Samurai Cafe?] It is a "participatory period drama entertainment" where customers come on stage and have a great time becoming the leading roles in a period drama. You will experience the traditional culture of flower arrangement in a Kyoto townhouse. After learning the basics, you are free to arrange the flowers as you like. After that, you will eat a Kyoto kaiseki bento lunch while looking at the flowers you have arranged with the head of the school. Children from kindergarten age can experience this. All flower arrangement tools, such as scissors, will be provided here.

This is an experience of sharpening and attaching a handle to a Japanese knife. For those who do not know how to sharpen a knife or are interested in the sharpness of Japanese knives, we will teach you how to sharpen it simply and accurately. In addition to sharpening, you will also be able to attach a handle at the end, so you can take home a sharp knife that is one of a kind in the world. We hope that you will not only learn about the charm of traditional Japanese knives, but also experience it for yourself. ~Experience flow~10:00 Notes/Explanation We will explain the precautions to take before the experience and the history of Japanese knives. 10:30 Sharpening experience You will experience sharpening. First, you will use a practice knife, and then you will actually sharpen the knife you purchased. 11:10 Handle attachment experience Attach a handle to the sharpened knife. Heat the core, fit the handle into it, and hit it with a wooden mallet to insert the handle. 11:40 Packaging The knife with the handle attached is packaged and handed over to the customer, and the experience is over.

A full-scale maiko and geisha transformation studio produced by a long-established Kyoto kimono store that has been in business for over 100 Year! The kimono uses a hand-painted Kyoto Yuzen dyed gem by a traditional craftsman. The obi is a real single knot. A professional photographer will carefully pose you.

Would you like to experience the traditional Japanese culture of calligraphy? In a calming space, you will calm your mind by holding a brush and writing. You can take home a work of art written in your favorite kanji, hiragana, or your name in kanji. ~Experience process~1. How to use the tools2. Practice basic lines and basic kanji3. Practice your favorite kanji or the kanji of your name (you can choose from the examples provided. You can also use other kanji of your choice.)4. Write your favorite kanji or your name on colored paper to finish your work. 5. The instructor will stamp your work with a commemorative seal, and it will be complete.

Would you like to wear a kimono and experience home cooking in a typical Japanese home? Dressing experience Many authentic kimonos are available. (We will also give you a brief introduction to the soup stock.) If the weather is nice, you can wear a kimono and take a walk or take pictures in a scenic park nearby.
