After passing through the torii gate at the entrance to the mountain trail, 403 steps await you, and Ishiwari Shrine, which is enshrined at the 8th station, is said to be the stage of the large rock where Amaterasu Omikami hid in the legend of Ama no Iwato. There is a large crack in this large rock, and it is said that if you can walk around it three times clockwise, you will be blessed with good luck, and there is also a legend that the water that seeps out of the crack can cure skin and eye diseases.
