This is a glass fusing experience class. It is an 8-minute walk from Uchinada Station on the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line from Kanazawa Station. Since it is an indoor activity, you can experience it without worrying about the weather. You will create a one-of-a-kind original work by combining Italian Venetian glass and the traditional craft of Murano Island, millefiori (said to be a thousand flowers). It's okay even if it's your first time! We will teach you in a fun and careful manner.

You can now park your car on the first floor of our building and go out! If you would like to park your car and go sightseeing in Kanazawa, please come to our store. The daily fee is 800 yen (tax included) and we are limited to one car per day, so it's first come, first served! "Studio Seikan" is a facility with a workshop, shop and cafe, where you can visit the manufacturing site of Yamanaka lacquerware, experience woodturning, shop, and enjoy cafe and sweets with lacquerware. This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware at the cafe and taste sweets. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. Please feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen if you have any questions. Lacquer can cause a rash, but we check beforehand and use gloves to prevent it from coming into contact with the skin, so even small children can experience it.
