The world's most dangerous (?) Tea room "Takasugi-an" is located on a tree with a height of 6m. A pyramid-like tea room buried in the basement, "Hikusugi-an". And the "flying mud boat" that is hung by a cable and floats in the air. Near Suwa Taisha Shrine in Chino City, there is a strange building that you will never forget once you see it. Its true identity is the tea room of Terunobu Fujimori, an architect known worldwide for his original architecture. With special permission from Dr. Fujimori, this is a special program only for a trip where you can make tea by putting it inside the "tea room" that you can't normally enter. Along with an English-speaking guide, first of all, I went around the Suwa Taisha Maemiya, which is the origin of Mr. Fujimori's idea, and realized the "feelings for nature" that are constantly transmitted to this area. Then, after visiting the first building built by Professor Fujimori, "Jinchokan Moriya Historical Museum," we will climb the "Flying Mud Boat" and "Takasugi-an" to see the inside. In addition, you can experience making matcha while being taught by a local teahouse in "Hikusugi-an". 5 minutes by taxi from JR Chino Station. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Worship at Suwa Taisha Maemiya: Tour started. First of all, I would like to introduce you to the origin of the idea of Professor Terunobu Fujimori, the front shrine of Suwa Taisha Kamisha. ② Walking: Walking on the ancient road behind the front shrine. ③ Visit to Jinchōkan Moriya Historical Museum: We will guide you to Jinchōkan Moriya Historical Museum (the first building built by Terunobu Fujimori). ④ Tour of Tea Room County: Visit three "Fujimori Tea Room". The guide will guide you inside and explain. 1) Climb the ladder to the inside of the "flying mud boat". 2) Climb the ladder to the inside of "Takasugi-an". 3) To the inside of the pitch-black "Hikusugi-an". After experiencing the darkness for a while, I opened the roof. I feel the brightness of the sky. ⑤ Tea experience: In Hikusugi-an, entertain with a simple “Matcha experience” by a local tea shop.

Make your own original chopsticks by choosing the wood and length and sharpening them with a plane! This is an experience in Azumino, Shinshu, a place rich in nature with sparkling water, light, wind, and sky. For same-day reservations, please contact us by phone. We will try it out at our home workshop. When you enter the room, the smell of wood wafts through the air. Just that alone relaxes your mind! Concentrating on making chopsticks will refresh your mind and body! It is an experience that will satisfy all five senses with Azumino's delicious air, water, and light. Unlike the standard chopstick making experience where you just move a plane around on a shaft, you can make thin chopsticks using a plane stand designed by the craftsman Kawaguchi! You can make thick chopsticks, square chopsticks, and even octagonal chopsticks if you try hard! This is the only place in Japan where you can make your own easy-to-use chopsticks. Children in the third grade of elementary school can try it out! (For elementary school students, we recommend cypress wood; some people may not be able to carve it at all due to the hardness of mountain cherry wood.) Using a planer from a square piece of wood may seem difficult, but...our craftsmen will carefully teach you how to use the planer. . 12 years of chopstick making experience. I have experienced it with over 10,000 people so far, so everyone is creating it. Among the 10,000 people, there are also famous entertainers and announcers (*^-^*) ~ Procedure of the day ~ ① "Decide the wood and length." Decide the material of the chopsticks and the length of the chopsticks. ② “Explanation of the process ~ It all starts with someone teaching me how to use a plane~” Planes vary depending on the person who uses them! How much it takes to cut depends on your individual stance. Therefore, the time for the chopstick making experience will vary depending on each customer's time! ③Process 1. Make the thickness easy to use 2. Scrape the corners 3. Polish with sandpaper 4. Write the name with a baking pen 5. Receive it and paint. Our craftsmen will apply a water-repellent ceramic coating and send it to you approximately one month after it dries. Water-repellent ceramic paint is a naturally derived paint, so it is gentle on the body and prevents bacteria without damaging the texture of the wood. *Domestic genuine lacquer painting is available as an option. (1,100 yen to be paid on-site) When you apply lacquer, it forms a coating that prevents the wood from absorbing water, protecting the chopsticks from mold and bacteria. Lacquer is made from wood sap and has been used since the Jomon period, so it is safe for your body. There are very few shops that paint Japanese lacquer. This is an initiative that allows you to use wood with care for a long time. I will also repaint it. *Nagano Prefecture SDGs Promotion Company: Registration number 1573. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and ``oneri in the morning, barley rice in the afternoon, and pumpkin hotou in the evening'' seems to have been the standard for daily life in Koshu farming villages for a long time. In 2007, it was selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes of Rural Areas,'' which has been passed down to rural areas throughout Japan and is widely supported by the people. Hoto noodles are different from regular noodles in that they do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, the noodles are made by hand from the powdered state.
