The world's most dangerous (?) Tea room "Takasugi-an" is located on a tree with a height of 6m. A pyramid-like tea room buried in the basement, "Hikusugi-an". And the "flying mud boat" that is hung by a cable and floats in the air. Near Suwa Taisha Shrine in Chino City, there is a strange building that you will never forget once you see it. Its true identity is the tea room of Terunobu Fujimori, an architect known worldwide for his original architecture. With special permission from Dr. Fujimori, this is a special program only for a trip where you can make tea by putting it inside the "tea room" that you can't normally enter. Along with an English-speaking guide, first of all, I went around the Suwa Taisha Maemiya, which is the origin of Mr. Fujimori's idea, and realized the "feelings for nature" that are constantly transmitted to this area. Then, after visiting the first building built by Professor Fujimori, "Jinchokan Moriya Historical Museum," we will climb the "Flying Mud Boat" and "Takasugi-an" to see the inside. In addition, you can experience making matcha while being taught by a local teahouse in "Hikusugi-an". 5 minutes by taxi from JR Chino Station. ～ Flow of the day ～ ① Worship at Suwa Taisha Maemiya: Tour started. First of all, I would like to introduce you to the origin of the idea of Professor Terunobu Fujimori, the front shrine of Suwa Taisha Kamisha. ② Walking: Walking on the ancient road behind the front shrine. ③ Visit to Jinchōkan Moriya Historical Museum: We will guide you to Jinchōkan Moriya Historical Museum (the first building built by Terunobu Fujimori). ④ Tour of Tea Room County: Visit three "Fujimori Tea Room". The guide will guide you inside and explain. 1) Climb the ladder to the inside of the "flying mud boat". 2) Climb the ladder to the inside of "Takasugi-an". 3) To the inside of the pitch-black "Hikusugi-an". Suwa Taisha Maemiya Suwa Taisha Shrine is Shinano Kuniichigu, which is deeply worshiped throughout the country, including the Suwa area. It consists of four companies: Harumiya and Akimiya, which are the lower shrines on the north side of Lake Suwa, and the main shrine and Maemiya, which are the upper shrines on the south side. It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, known as the birthplace of the Suwa faith.
Onbashira The nationwide famous once-in-seven-yearly heroic festival "Onbashirasai" is a unique Shinto ritual that cannot be seen anywhere else. The parishioners carry a huge fir tree cut out from the depths of the mountain to the precincts of Suwa Taisha Shrine while dragging it with human power, and also build it manually to make four pillars (onbashira) that surround the shrine.

Tea room Designed by Terunobu Fujimori, an architect from Chino. "Takasugi-an" is built on two trees 6m above the ground and has been selected as one of the "Top 10 Most Dangerous Buildings in the World" by American "TIME" magazine (1st place is Leaning Tower of Pisa). Tower).
