Neriko is a black pill-shaped incense that was widely used during the Heian period. In The Tale of Genji, there is a scene in which Hikaru Genji, Murasaki no Ue, and other characters are actually created and evaluated, and it is still known as one of the Six Kinds of Kaorumono. It is also used in front of the charcoal in winter during tea ceremonies. Nerika is not something to be used at room temperature, but rather to be warmed to enjoy its aroma. We placed lit charcoal in an incense burner filled with ashes, placed incense sticks on top of the warmed ashes, and enjoyed the scent that wafted through the air. Enjoy the relaxing time and space as the charcoal warms the ashes, along with the scent. It is also recommended before welcoming guests. We have boxes and bags for you to take home, as well as charcoal and incense burner ash for you to use at home.

Zuko is a powdered incense that monks apply on their palms as a purifying scent in Buddhism. Among the Japanese scents that are used by transferring the scent to something, it is the only one that can be applied directly to the body. In ancient times, people used to collect the first morning dew that had accumulated on lotus leaves, mix sandalwood with the water, and apply it to their bodies. Unlike liquid scents, it is a powder type, so it has low volatility and does not easily diffuse into the surrounding area, making it a convenient scent that can be used without being noticed by those around you. Recommended for relaxing between work. Also, since you only need to use a small amount and don't apply too much, this item is perfect for those who can't get a strong scent in a place where there are people, but still want to add something. *Some sects, such as Zen Buddhism, do not use incense.

Casually! Fun! This is a program where you can experience the traditional Japanese culture of "martial arts" and "kendo"! Of course, you can experience the sport of kendo, but you can also experience the mind and spirit. The theme of the experience program is "Senshin", which means to remove the dirt and bad feelings from your mind and have a pure heart. Based on that theme, we have five programs such as "listen", "touch", "do", "watch" and "interact" that allow you to experience the spirit of martial arts and traditional Japanese culture through kendo. You will hear about the history of kendo, touch and wear kendo equipment, and actually do some striking. You will also watch a kendo match between high-ranking practitioners, and the program lasts for about three hours. There will also be free time for mutual exchanges and photography. The instructors are high-ranking practitioners with a 7th dan kendo instructor and a 6th dan kendo instructor, so you can learn real martial arts/kendo. Participants will receive a "KenDo!-Spirit" original Japanese-made tenugui hand towel! All kendo equipment is available for rental, so you can come empty-handed. Everyone from children to adults can enjoy the experience casually and with fun, and we will help you create unforgettable memories.
