"KenDo!-Spirit" is not only an opportunity to experience the traditional Japanese martial art of Kendo, but also to experience the mind and spirit. It is a fulfilling program that can be enjoyed casually and enjoyably by anyone from children to adults, and also includes the opportunity to watch Kendo performed by highly skilled practitioners. It is a traditional culture experience activity that will leave a pleasant memory of your trip to Japan. Highly skilled instructors will teach you the spirit of Bushido in a fun way. By learning Kendo, you will acquire good manners and etiquette. You will become a better person. We aim to create a healthy, peaceful and better society. We pray for a world without conflict.
"It is the heart that teaches the sword" are the words of Toranosuke Shimada, a kendo practitioner from the late Edo period, who said, "The sword is the heart. If the heart is not right, the sword will not be right. Those who wish to study the sword must first study with their heart." The sword and the heart are one and the same, and by training in the correct sword technique, one can hone a correct heart. Why not hone your mind and body with "KenDo!-Spirit"?
We will teach you gently and carefully. We will help you have fun, experience the spirit of Kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art, and create fun memories!
