This tour is only available during the time when you can go through the mangrove tunnel and take a jungle cruise! High tide is the most popular time in the mangroves. You often see this in guidebooks, on TV, and on social media, where you can canoe through a waterway that looks like a tree tunnel. In fact, this is not possible at any time, but only during high tide! "So when is high tide?" The tides change from day to day, so you need to do some research. But don't worry! Some days it will be held in the morning, and other days in the afternoon, but no matter what time you choose, we will take you to the mangroves at high tide. What's more, we will guide you on a private tour just for you. "Can I keep up with everyone...?" "It's awkward to be with strangers..." "What if I cause trouble to those around me..." Don't worry, there are no worries like these that are unique to group tours! This tour is suitable for a wide range of ages, from young children to the elderly. Young children can ride in a canoe with their parents, and children who are not confident in their physical strength and the elderly can ride in a canoe with an adult. The guide will provide you with solid support, so anyone can enjoy it! Schedule ① Meet at the Mangrove Park Roadside Station ② Arrive at the kayak launch point and receive a preparatory lecture (15 minutes) on how to paddle and important points. ③ Kayak tour (100 minutes) Paddle a kayak and explore the mangroves! The jungle, the tree tunnel, everything is an extraordinary experience. ⑤ Disband at the Mangrove Park We hope that this will be the best memory of your trip. *About the safety of the tour The guide for this tour will be an instructor who has taken a kayak training program. We will provide appropriate lectures and advice to customers who are new to kayaking, and conduct the tour in accordance with safety standards. *If you select [I want] for a private tour in the question, you will be guided by only one group. If you select [I don't care], you may be grouped with another customer. The price will not change.

This tour recruits a limited number of people every month, so first come, first served! And only for students! Reservations are for 3 people or more, and are recommended for those who come to play with friends during spring break or summer vacation! This plan was created to support the creation of memories for students who come to Amami Oshima. Why not try kayaking in the mangroves to make memories with your friends, such as on a graduation trip? You can land deep in the intricate jungle and on vast tidal flats that you cannot go on group tours!・Schedule ① Meet at Roadside Station Mangrove Park ② Arrival at the canoe boarding area, preparation lecture (15 minutes) We will explain how to row and precautions. ③Canoe tour (100 minutes) Let's row a canoe and explore the mangroves! The jungle, tree tunnels, tidal flats, and swarms of crabs are all extraordinary experiences. ⑤ Mangrove Park disbanded I hope you have the best memories of your trip.・About the tides Since mangroves are close to the ocean, the tides have a big effect on their location. This is a tour where you can row a canoe at both high and low tides. However, when the tide is high, the canoe travels through the channels inside the mangroves, and when the tide is low, the tidal flats appear, so they land on the tidal flats. If you have a preference, please let us know when making your reservation.・About tour safety The guide for this tour will be an instructor who has taken a kayak training program. We will provide appropriate lectures and advice to customers who are new to kayaking, and conduct tours in accordance with safety standards.・Others: This tour is not a private tour, and in some cases we may guide two groups at the same time. Amami Oshima was registered as a World Heritage Site under the framework of "biodiversity". In fact, only about 10% of the virgin forests remain on Amami Oshima, and Mt. Yuwan is one of the few areas of untouched nature that remain. Let's take a walk around Mt. Yuwan, where many endemic species remain. There are two routes to climb Mt. Yuwan, but on this tour, we walk up the wooden stairs from the parking lot at No. 9 to the observation deck and shrine near the summit. It is not a mountain trail, so it is easy to walk, and you can observe plants unique to Mt. Yuwan along the way. (Anyone who has no problem walking or climbing stairs in daily life can participate. It takes about 30 minutes to walk one way.) On a clear day, you can see a wide view of Amami Oshima from the observation deck. However, as the name "cloud forest" suggests, Mt. Yuwan is a special environment with clouds and fog all year round and a lot of rain. Therefore, you can only see the view from the observation deck if you are lucky... but for me (the guide), it is the rainy days that are the real sight. I would like you to experience this natural environment! After Mt. Yuwan, we will stop by Materia Falls for a commemorative photo and tea time. Schedule Meet at Amami City Naze Sports Park or pick up at hotel ↓ Move to Mt. Yuwan (travel time varies depending on pick-up location) Arrive at Mt. Yuwan parking lot ↓ Nature walk while observing plants and animals Arrive at observation deck and shrine ↓ Descend to parking lot ↓ Travel 15 minutes Materia Falls ↓ Return to hotel

In the early morning, there are no people in the mangroves, so it is quiet and you can see the mangroves as they are. In the early morning, the mangroves are dimly lit and filled with morning mist, creating an indescribably beautiful sight.
