Every year from April to late May, 800,000 moss phlox bloom all at once on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi Prefecture, like a "rainbow on the ground." The beautiful scenery of the magnificent moss phlox, the blue sky, and the snowy landscape of the top of Mt. Fuji is captivating to behold. A food festival is also held at the same time. The admission fee for the Fuji Moss Phlox Festival is 1,100 yen for adults, 600 yen for children aged 3 to 12, 1,400 yen during peak season, and 800 yen for children aged 3 to 12. Please pay the admission fee yourself. ▼Kawaguchiko Momiji Corridor The sight of the snow-capped Mt. Fuji and the fiery red maple leaves in harmony is not to be missed. The name of the hot spring comes from the goddess "Kinohana Sakiyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. You can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji from the hot spring, and you can enjoy a large open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji with high-quality hot spring water from the private source. 1. Mt. Fuji 5th Station Visit the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, a very popular sightseeing spot! The summit of Mt. Fuji can be viewed from the 5th station at the end of the Fuji Subaru Line at an altitude of 2,300 meters! * In the period from December to March, the bus cannot go to the 5th station as it is closed, and the tour visits Fujiten Snow Resort, where you can have snow-viewing experience and some time for taking photos. Also, visit Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center located at the entrance to the Mt. Fuji trail. 2. Relish a lunch buffet at "Sylvans", a restaurant located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. 3.
