Wagashi is strongly characterized by colorful designs and beautiful craftsmanship, each created by hand by artisans.-Learn about the history and culture of JapanWagashi is a unique food to Japan and reflects the Japanese spirit of appreciating the four seasons, and it is said to have a beauty that is similar to that of wabi and sabi.- “They are too beautiful to eat.The first thing that strikes you when you are confronted with wagashi is how beautiful they look. Would you like to experience home cooking and calligraphy while wearing an authentic kimono? You can choose your favorite kimono and get dressed in a typical Japanese home. Experience and enjoy home-cooked meals while wearing traditional sashes. (We will also give you a brief introduction to soup stock.) In the calligraphy experience, why not write your favorite characters on colored paper or a folding fan to create a commemorative work? Please feel free to join us. We also have a home cooking experience plan wearing a kimono, a home cooking experience and a tea ceremony experience plan wearing a kimono. Please take a look there too.

This is a workshop where you can experience calligraphy in a short time in Namba. Even if you are a beginner, you can rest assured that the instructor will give you detailed instructions. Writing Japanese using a brush and ink is an unforgettable experience. In this workshop, you will not only experience calligraphy, but also learn how to write your own name in kanji or katakana. At the end of the workshop, students will create a one-of-a-kind handwritten souvenir by writing their name on colored paper or on a name tag. Write your own name in Japanese and take it home with you, along with your memories of Japan. Dotonbori, Nihonbashi, and Kuromon Market are close by, so you can go to those areas before or after the workshop, so you can make the most of your day!

Why not experience Japanese culture to make memories of your trip? Calm your mind and listen to the sound of the brush. ~Schedule~ ①Plan explanation ・Decide which kanji to write while looking at the sample (5 minutes) ②Start practicing on the washi paper (20 minutes) After an explanation of how to use the brush, you will practice freely on the characters you want to write. Even if it's your first time, you can practice as many sheets as you like with free expression. ③Lesson before finishing the final work and explanation of the points to finish the work ・Final copy (10 minutes) ④Origami experience (15 minutes) Choose your favorite chiyogami paper and fold your favorite origami work (lecture included) Paste it on the calligraphy colored paper and complete the work ⑤Commemorative photo (10 minutes) The time is only a guide. Write with your feelings while looking at the model You can take home the finished work on the colored paper as a souvenir for your loved ones or for yourself.
