Miyakojima is home to relics of wartime remains scattered throughout the island, conveying memories of the past to the present day. On this tour, you'll walk through historical sites, focusing on the remains of artillery batteries, command posts, and underground bunkers, while gaining a clear understanding of the background of the time, island life, and the impact of the war. Rather than simply being curious or visiting unusual places, we aim to balance learning and experience, valuing the atmosphere and sense of distance you only get when you're standing there. Photography is permitted, but due to the nature of the location, we ask that you be considerate of others and behave with discretion.

You can actually walk around and experience the atmosphere and sense of distance at the war site, which cannot be conveyed through words or photographs alone. As you visit the remains of the artillery battery, command post, and underground bunkers, you will also be able to easily understand the background and life at the time.
