Yumeyakata Oike Villa Enjoy an authentic Kyoto tea ceremony experience in a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has been passed down since the Meiji era. Our shop is a Kyoto townhouse that exudes history and charm, with lattice windows, a garden, and a veranda, allowing you to enjoy the changing seasons of Kyoto. Once you step inside, you'll be enveloped in a warm, Kyoto atmosphere, where time seems to flow slowly.

Move to Yumeyakata Oike Villa After changing, you will proceed to the venue for the tea ceremony experience, Yumeyakata Oike Bettei, on your own.
Mini tea ceremony lesson (approx. 10 minutes) / Yumeyakata original booklet gift The teacher talks about the tea ceremony. The meaning and history of the tea ceremony. Starting with "What is the tea ceremony?", he explains the hanging scroll and tools in the tokonoma alcove.

We do not have a parking lot, so if you wake up by car, please use a nearby coin parking lot.
・Get off at Karasuma-Oike Station on the Karasuma Line or Tozai Line. It is a 3-minute walk from Exit ②. ・Exit Karasuma-Oike Station's North Gate (manned) and turn right onto the street in front of you. Continue straight, cross the first street, and you will find Yumeyakata Oike Bettei on your left, the 7th building. It is located northwest of the Manga Museum.
