Please feel free to contact us for inquiries. <Types of Whales> The humpback whales you'll see on whale watching tours are 12 meters long and weigh around 25 tons, making them the seventh largest species of whale. They inhabit the cold northern seas (Bering Strait) in the summer, but from around December, they migrate south to the warm, calm waters of Okinawa to give birth and raise their young. They are most likely to be seen in the waters off Okinawa's main island between January and March, and in early April, they set off again for the northern seas with their newborn calves. On the tour, you can enjoy the dynamic behavior of mother and calf humpback whales swimming leisurely, and occasionally breaching their massive bodies. The boat you will be chartering is not a small one, but a large cruiser with a maximum capacity of 57 people, one of the largest in the prefecture, measuring 70 feet (approximately 21 meters). Divided into three areas - the first floor, second deck, and the front of the boat - it allows for spacious observation, and there is also an interior room that can seat more than 10 people, allowing you to avoid the wind and waves while traveling. There are also two flush toilets, the same as those used in homes, separated by gender, so you can participate in long tours with peace of mind.
