This authentic trekking tour explores the lesser-known and unexplored areas of Kumejima. We head to the ruins of the former Shimoaka settlement and the natural world deep in the forest. A gigantic banyan tree stands quietly in the depths of the forest. Its imposing presence symbolizes the power of Kumejima's nature. Furthermore, as you climb the rocky area overlooking the river, a mystical waterfall shrouded in tranquility appears before your eyes. This tour includes sections along rocky areas and rivers, including unstable footing. Therefore, it is recommended for intermediate hikers, requiring a certain level of physical strength and balance. While a guide will ensure safety, we advise caution if you are not accustomed to the outdoors. Enjoy an adventure and a sense of accomplishment you won't find in tourist spots. Enjoy a special trekking experience as you delve into the deep nature of Kumejima. *Participants are required to wear comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes. Marine shoes are available for free rental.
