[Yamanashi Southern Alps National Park] Why not try climbing Mt. Kitadake, the second highest mountain in Japan?

Mount Kita-dake (3,193 meters) is the main peak of the Southern Alps, Japan's second highest mountain after Mount Fuji. Its towering, triangular peak, awe-inspiring, and majestic form, is awe-inspiring. The unobstructed views from the summit offer a breathtaking view of the entire Japanese Alps, including Mount Fuji. The course begins at the trailhead at Hirogawara and climbs 1,700 meters in elevation over two days. On the first day, you'll stay overnight at Katabi Hut, located at an altitude of 3,000 meters. The next morning, you'll begin your ascent to the summit, followed by a descent to Hirogawara. While the trail is well-maintained, there are some steep, slippery climbs and steep rocky areas, so waterproof, high-top hiking shoes are essential. Participants will also need basic mountaineering equipment, including rain gear and a backpack, as well as some climbing experience.

This is a full-scale mountain climbing in the Southern Alps National Park. A guide will support you even if you are not confident about climbing alone.

The tour will be accompanied by a guide certified by the Japan Mountain Guides Association, who is also a nationally certified guide-interpreter and can speak English.

Local guides will cover a variety of genres, including wild flowers, birds and animals, as well as terrain and history.
