Join cycling legend Daisuke Imanaka, the first Japanese to compete in the modern Tour de France, as your ride leader on this autumnal riding tour from Lake Yamanaka to Oshino Hakkai. While you'll climb Mikuni Pass early on, everyone will ride at a relaxed pace, so even those who aren't good at hills can relax. On a clear day, enjoy a pleasant ride surrounded by views of Mount Fuji from anywhere. Enjoy lunch at Dezutsumi, a popular local restaurant. Stop by spots to enjoy the autumn foliage, and at the climax of the tour, admire the "Diamond Fuji," a sight that can only be seen at this time of year. This group ride, complete with a mini lesson from Imanaka, allows you to fully enjoy Lake Yamanaka and Oshino Hakkai in autumn.

Originally from Hiroshima Prefecture, he has lived in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture since 1998. As a Shimano Racing rider, he swept all domestic titles and turned professional in 1994. In 1996, he became the first Japanese rider to compete in the Tour de France since the war. He retired after the 1997 Japan Cup. He currently appears on television and radio as a sports cycling advisor, and participates in cycling events such as hill climbs as a guest rider. He served as an official commentator for the road race and time trial at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Diamond Fuji is a phenomenon where the sun overlaps the summit of Mount Fuji. At Lake Yamanaka, it can be observed from one of several locations for approximately four months, from late October to late February. However, in winter, the roads may freeze over, so the period during which you can see it while cycling is limited. Also, this is the only time you can enjoy it together with the autumn leaves! We hope you will enjoy this moment! We look forward to your participation.
