The tour will be conducted on a catamaran, a rare vessel in the region that is highly stable and has little rocking. You can relax on the spacious boat.
Our veteran captain, who knows the waters of Motobu inside and out, is well versed in the ecology and behavioral patterns of whales. This is why we can provide you with a special experience where you will encounter whales with a high probability. Our guides, who are passionate about whales, will also provide easy-to-understand explanations. See, listen, touch, learn... It's fun for everyone, from children to adults. Furthermore, weather and ocean conditions significantly affect whale spotting, and the time it takes to spot a whale may vary from day to day. Time schedule
Meeting/reception Please come to the meeting point, Motobu Port, where you will fill out an application form, pay, and undergo a health check.
Departure Board the boat and set sail! While you wait for your whale watching to begin, you'll be given an explanation about how to spot whales and their ecology, so you can have fun learning while you're traveling.
Start watching Once you spot a whale, it's time to start watching! You'll be captivated by its impressive appearance and graceful movements. To protect the whales, the watching time is limited to one hour.
Return to port / Disband After returning to port, the tour will be dismissed.

Motobu Port - Marien Shop PETREL Meeting Place - (1) Search for "Motobu Port Ferry Terminal" on Google Maps or the Motobu Port address "5232 Sakimotobu, Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture." (2) The entrance to the port is opposite the entrance to the brown paid multi-story parking lot near the Motobu Port Ferry Terminal. Please come to the port in your car.
