A special winter-only deal! Every winter, humpback whales return to Okinawa to breed. The Kerama Islands are famous for whale watching in Okinawa, but you can also see many whales in the waters off our home turf. The whales' dynamic performance is simply moving! This is a half-day plan, so it's perfect for those who want to do lots of sightseeing. We've achieved a 100% encounter rate for two consecutive years since 2020! We've also achieved 100% in 2023 and 2024! The cruiser is a new cruiser that began service in 2018, with a capacity of 43 people, two toilets (separate for men and women with washlets), priority seats, a total length of 18m, and a maximum speed of 30 knots.
Humpback whales return to Okinawa for breeding every winter. The Kerama Islands are famous for whale watching in Okinawa, but you can also see many whales in the sea near our home ground headquarters ♪ The dynamic performance of the whales is a moving word!
The humpback whale is one of the largest mammals in the world with a total length of 10 to 15 m and a weight of 30 tons. It is a chest fin that is much longer than other whales, and you can see up close that you can hit the surface of the sea with this chest fin and dive while showing the big tail fin gracefully. There is no doubt that you will be impressed because such a huge body dances in the air, and if you are lucky you may be able to witness at that moment ♪

Time schedule
Set to the shop Morning flights will meet at 8:30 and afternoon flights will meet at the store at 13:00. When the reception is closed at the shop, you will be asked to move to Motobu Port in about 5 minutes by car. We will give you a map to the port.

Departure Immediately after the departure, we will start searching for whales. The search will take about 15 minutes at the earliest and over an hour at the longest, but this will be the luck of the day. Let's look for it while looking at the sea together!
Start watching Watching will start as soon as a whale is found. Originally, whales blow (breath) 3 to 4 times before diving. The ascent interval varies from 5 to 20 minutes depending on the whales found on the day.
action Pay attention to the actions that you occasionally show while watching. Of course, I am not trained, so I may not take any action, but suddenly I will show you bleach (jump) and tail slap (action of hitting the sea surface with the tail fin). Do not miss it!
Dissolution After arriving at the port, it will be dissolved. The scheduled return time is around 12:00 in the morning and around 16:30 in the afternoon, but if the search takes a long time, it may change significantly, so please make a schedule for the day with plenty of time. That helps a lot.
