This private tour, reserved for one group only, explores the urban jungle of Nakanoshima, Dotonbori, Osaka's busiest shopping district beyond the floodgates, and Osaka's waterways. The 16km long tour takes 4.5 hours. Kayaking through the heart of Dotonbori, Osaka's busiest shopping district, is a unique experience. Your guide will take photos during the tour. Please make your reservation at least three days in advance to apply for permission to pass through the floodgates. This 15km course takes you around Osaka, the city of water. Starting at Osaka Fureai Waterfront Park near JR Sakuranomiya Station, the tour passes through Nakanoshima, the Central Wholesale Market, and the Dotonbori floodgates, passing through the Namba shopping district famous for its Glico sign, before returning to the starting point via the Higashi-Yokobori River. This tour is primarily for those with kayaking experience or who are confident in their physical fitness.
There are many people who enjoy the outdoors in the great outdoors in places as far away as Okinawa and Hokkaido, and who seek out nature for its love, but I think that few people pay attention to the nature that is right under their feet in their daily lives.
