Even first-timers are welcome! Experience the traditional craft of Kawauchi lacquerware with maki-e lacquering♪ This plan allows customers to choose from five types of Kawauchi lacquerware bowls, plates, etc. and experience maki-e lacquering on them. You can take home the product you made on the same day! Maki-e is a unique Japanese craft technique in which pictures are drawn on the surface of lacquerware with lacquer and then sprinkled with gold and silver metal powder and colored powder. Same-day reservations are also possible, so please feel free to make a reservation.
