This plan allows you to enjoy the Imperial Court Cormorant Fishing & Gozan no Okuribi (right-hand bonfire) on a boat that departs from the Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama. This is a special plan where you can enjoy the summer traditions of "cormorant fishing" and "Gozan no Okuribi", also known as "Okuribi", from a charming houseboat in Arashiyama, Kyoto. How about making some summer memories? ~Schedule~ 18:00 Reception starts Location: "Arashiyama Tsusen North Pier" *Please complete reception 15 minutes before departure time. 19:00 Departure ↓ Cormorant fishing & Gozan no Okuribi Viewing A summer tradition in Arashiyama that takes place every year. Cormorant fishing in Arashiyama has a long history and has been held for a thousand years. You can enjoy the night view of Arashiyama and cormorant fishing from the houseboat amid the bonfires. In addition, you can enjoy the traditional Obon event "Gozan no Okuribi" from the houseboat. ★The houseboat will dock at the Arashiyama Tsusen South Pier once on the way.
