On Sunday, August 24, 2025, we will be holding a day trip experience of Sagami Sato Kagura and waterfall training in the quiet mountains of Atsugi. Waterfall training may sound like a tough experience, but we will support you so that even first-timers can take on the challenge with confidence. Training is based on the positive idea that people can start over again and again. Kagura is an ancient Japanese traditional performing art that embodies the wish that people can spend their days in good health. This time, you will watch a lion dance performance and take photos of yourself as a lion dancer. Why not refresh your mind and body through this experience and the stress we feel in our daily lives? *This plan is limited to 20 people. If there are a large number of applications, we will hold a lottery, so participation will be confirmed on August 5, 2025. In order to experience traditional Japanese culture, I hope you will feel the spirituality of the Japanese people through waterfall training. It will wash away the everyday grime that accumulates unconsciously due to daily frustrations. To keep your mind steady, chant mantras during waterfall training and become one with the gods and Buddhas that exist in nature. It is said that every phenomenon in nature has a soul. By experiencing your true, sacred self, you can change your everyday actions and way of thinking. A state in which your body and mind are clean is called "six senses purification." Please achieve this state. And make an effort to maintain this state every day. If you feel dirty or down again, please come back to Atsugi to do Japanese waterfall training.

The venue for this event, Motoyu Tamagawakan, is an inn that inherits the founder's wish to "rest the body and mind." The well-maintained building allows you to spend time peacefully. In the evening, the hot spring, made entirely of cypress, is enveloped in a seductive light created by the aged cypress and the layers of lacquer. Why not soak in the soft water and enjoy cuisine made with local ingredients?

Sagami Sato Kagura, which has a long history of over 110 years, is designated as an intangible folk cultural asset of Atsugi City. The Sagami style of art, which was nurtured in the rich natural environment of Atsugi's mountains and rivers, is a relaxed and dynamic theatrical performance that continues to this day.
