What is Dohchoo? Kimono DochuYou may have heard the term "Oiran Dohchoo." Dohchoo means "parade." Wear a gorgeous kimono and take part in a parade around Tokyo or at the foot of Mount Fuji. Wear a high-class kimono and join a procession at Fujiyoshida Retro Shopping Street or in Tokyo.What is Dohchoo? You may have heard the term "Oiran Dohchoo." Dohchoo means a parade. Wear a gorgeous kimono and take part in a parade around Tokyo or at the foot of Mount Fuji. Wear a high-class kimono and join a procession at Fujiyoshida Retro Shopping Street or in Tokyo.
Kimono, an important part of Japanese culture, can be broadly divided into everyday wear and ceremonial wear. In this course, you will learn the basics of kimono, including how to fold a kimono, how to classify kimonos into everyday and ceremonial categories, and how Japanese people enjoy wearing them.
Based on the concept of "Easy Cozy Kimono," we introduce a modern "Kamiyabu Kimono" style that blends Japanese and Western influences. Take a stroll around the foot of Mt. Fuji in your favorite kimono.
A posing lesson for Self Photo Shooting is included. A lesson on posing unique to kimono
