Let's end the day's itinerary happily! ▼Atami Sunshine Coast Highway: A 6.1km long highway along the beautiful coast. This road is not only one of the representative tourist routes in the Atami area, but also one of the most worth visiting coastal roads on the east coast of Honshu, Japan. ▼Mount Omuro is located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a 580-meter-high extinct volcano famous for its perfectly symmetrical cone shape. The entire mountain is covered with lush grasslands, and it shows different expressions in each season, as if a huge green velvet carpet was laid on the earth. It is known as the "natural scenery of the Izu Peninsula". ▼Jogasaki Coast, a hidden area of the Izu Peninsula in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is one of the most majestic natural scenery on the east coast of the Izu Peninsula. This is a lava coast formed by a volcanic eruption about 4,000 years ago. The steep cliffs, unique volcanic rocks, and blue sea blend together to create a magnificent view. It is known as the "most beautiful volcanic coast in Izu". ▼Ito Marine Town is a popular seaside leisure station in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is located along National Route 135, facing Sagami Bay. There are plenty of facilities, including hot springs with ocean views, gourmet food, ocean sightseeing cruises, and souvenir shopping centers, making it the perfect place to take a break during a drive or family trip, and a popular check-in spot where you can casually spend half a day! This is a mixed tour, and participants come from all over the world.
It runs from Yugawara to Miyanomatsu, and along the way you can enjoy views of the deep blue waters of Sagami Bay, shining like a blue ribbon between the sheer cliffs.
The Omuroyama mountain lift will take you to the summit in just 6 minutes, and you can enjoy 360-degree views from the circular promenade.
One of the most famous sights is the 48-meter-long and 23-meter-high Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, which spans the coastal cliffs. Standing on the bridge, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean as the waves crash on the shore, and experience the shocking experience of the whistling sea breeze.
