After receiving a detailed explanation from the producer about the Awaji Island endemic "Awajishima Naruto Orange", you will actually experience harvesting Awajishima Naruto Oranges at "Naruka Farm". After that, you will take a break and squeeze the harvested Awajishima Naruto Oranges to taste the juice. You will visit a farm that produces the Awajishima endemic "Awajishima Naruto Orange", hear from the producer about the history, charm, and cultivation methods of Awajishima Naruto Oranges, and actually experience harvesting in the orchard. After that, you will take a break and squeeze the harvested Awajishima Naruto Oranges on the spot and taste the freshly squeezed juice. Away from the city, in a comfortable space that feels like a hometown, enjoy a relaxing time talking with the producer. "Awajishima Naruto Orange" is a rare species endemic to Awaji Island that has remained almost in its original form since it was discovered about 300 years ago. Because it has not been bred, it is difficult to cultivate and has the disadvantage of having many scratches on the skin and seeds, but it has a unique personality and flavor that other citrus fruits do not have. The fruit has a refreshing acidity, clean sweetness, and a slight bitterness, and is full of juice. The soft skin is fragrant and perfect for processing into marmalade. In recent years, it has become difficult to obtain due to a decrease in the number of farmers, and it has come to be called a "phantom citrus fruit." However, Awaji Island is now united in promoting various activities to revive and brand it. Please get to know Awaji Island Naruto Oranges through a valuable harvesting experience and enjoy their deep flavor. Although "Naruca Farm" is small, it carefully manages its cultivation using farming methods that make use of nature. In the farm, there is an idol goat named Lulu who is in charge of weeding, and if you are lucky, you can feed her.
